Xinhua reports that Premier Wen Jiabao traveled to the region Thursday to assess the damage and relief efforts. A disaster relief official with the Ministry of Civil Affairs' disaster relief says medical aid, food and shelter are the top priority for the 100,000 people living in the quake zone.
